On Tuesday, January 28, 2025, Regis University's 2025 Lunar New Year event was held. The event was hosted by the Asian Student Alliance and was free to attend. The event included a snake drawing competition, to represent the symbol of the Lunar New Year, and prizes for the winners.

Regis University Honors Día de los Muertos

On November 1st, Regis University hosted a celebration to recognize one of the most ancient feasts in the cultural life of Mexico: Día de los Muertos. The event took place on the Student Center Patio and was open to Regis students, faculty, staff, and the local community. The afternoon was complete with live music from Mariachi Regional de México, and a culturally significant craft with artist Mamibel (Maribel Arrendondo).

Regis University Hosts Annual Event, Trick or Treat Street

On Halloween night, October 31st, 2023, Regis University continued their annual tradition of hosting a family-friendly, and perfectly spooky event, Trick of Treat Street. This event gives attendees a chance to learn more about the university’s clubs and programs, while also giving out sweets and treats to young Trick or Treaters. The Regis Highlander was proud to be on of the independent organizations to be featured at the event.

RAWtools at Regis

RAWtools, an organization that specializes in nonviolence training in real-world situations, attended First Year Experience events at Regis University. RAWtools made an appearance at Regis University giving students the chance to hammer a gun barrel in front of the Pedro Arrupe, S.J. statue in the morning and near food trucks in the afternoon.
